SharePoint Technical Forum
Costa Express wanted to introduce a central hub where field service engineers can access key information, manuals, stock lists and to provide a forum where they can to discuss potential issues or share fixes. This solution needed to be available 24/7 from anywhere and on any device.
Following a well-received proof of concept Adepteq was engaged to develop a suitable solution in SharePoint Online (part of Office 365), which enables user to log in with existing credentials.
The Costa Express Technical Forum site, is a single platform for field and office based colleagues to access information from a multitude of sources using an easy to navigate, fully branded user experience. The site covers forums for key fixes, discussion threads, Technical guides, bulletins & also hosts ‘how to’ videos.
A knowledge base for a company this size needed to be able to provide the initial information they wanted but also scale effectively with the business so that the forum grows alongside the organisation, helping them to continue fixing their machines efficiently. Our SharePoint Technical forum allows them to upload & download content and send links to content from a single, secure location.
We have received great feedback on the forum, giving engineers and field staff the opportunity to post their thoughts, we got an excellent response on their newest communications hub:
