Adepteq were contacted by Microsoft to assist with a SharePoint project at The Becket School that was not proceeding to plan. The original partner had not made the expected progress and time was running out to complete a migration from SharePoint Portal Server 2003 to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 as the summer break was nearing an end.
Microsoft arranged a conference call with the partner, the school and Adepteq where the requirement was discussed and Adepteq were engaged to complete the migration.
Adepteq successfully completed the migration within tight deadlines and have provided both User and Administrator training to the IT department and key users within the school. Adepteq are now the schools preferred partner for SharePoint and are assisting them with future IT infrastructure plans.

The current school was formed from the amalgamation in 1975 of a boys' grammar school and a bilateral school, which occupied two separate sites, half-a-mile apart. The upper school, housing Year 11 and the sixth-form, is sited on the banks of the River Trent. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey, rugby, gymnastics, swimming, volleyball and athletics.
