Adepteq have won the contract with Pipers Corner School to upgrade the current infrastructure within the school and install a Microsoft business class network to replace the existing RM networks they have.
As an independant school Pipers Corner needs to be run as a business that delivers education so Adepteq as a Microsoft Small Business Specialist and Microsoft Gold Partner with strong links to the academic sector are a perfect partner.
As a Dell Direct Partner, Adepteq are able to provide a "one stop shop" as it is supplying a new Server cabinet, then configuring and installing six new Servers to provide a business class service to both the staff and students of Pipers Corner.
Adepteq are implementing a new Active Directory with redundnant Domain Controllers, Exchange 2007, SQL 2005, Terminal Services, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Lightspeed Total Traffic Control. This new network infrastucture will also support the existing Sage and Schoolbase applications which will be migrated to the new solution.
This project has already begun and will be implemented over the summer holidays to ensure minimum disruption to the school.
About Pipers Corner School:
Pipers Corner is an independent boarding and day school for girls aged from 3 - 18 set in 36 acres of Chiltern countryside.
At Pipers there is an atmosphere of caring and mutual respect with an emphasis on family values, good manners and courtesy. We believe that education is about the development of the whole person. In addition to providing a stimulating academic learning environment we also encourage the girls to cultivate any sporting or creative talents they have through a wide range of extra curricular activities. The girls are challenged to achieve excellence, but not overwhelmed.
Above all this is a school of individuals - there is no typical "Pipers" girl. We support the girls to fulfil their academic and personal potential, enabling them to emerge as mature, confident and independent young women.
