Adepteq were invited by Microsoft to support them at a recent series of executive briefings they had arranged for their corporate customers.
The briefing included an overview of Cloud Computing and how Software as a Service (SAAS) is changing the way organisations purchase, deploy and manage Enterprise solutions.
Adepteq then demonstrated the Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS), focusing on the ease of administration and user experience. We demonstrated creating a new user (with mailbox), creating a new site collection (in SharePoint) and then granting permissions to the site.
BPOS consists of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Office Live Meeting and Office Communications Online so provides an organisation with a complete communication and collaboration suite.
Following the demonstration, a lively and interesting round table with Eron Kelly, Senior Director Microsoft Online Services proved to be a big hit with all the questions posed being answered enthusiatically.
Adepteq then shared our Customers experiences of Microsoft Online Services, what we have seen as the drivers to BPOS, things to look out for, the positive and negative experiences so far. We also spoke about our experiences as a Microsoft partner in working with and marketing BPOS.
