Adepteq have worked closely with Lancashire Constabulary to design, develop and install "Sherlock" to replace the existing force intranet.
"Sherlock" is based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 technology with a Corporate Home Landing page and then each division has their own portal where they control content specific to the division.
Lancashire Constabulary are running a fully redundant robust Server farm to ensure "Sherlock" is always available for over 7,000 officers and civillian staff. "Sherlock" will be the electronic space within the Constabulary for all staff to find information pertinent to them.
Following successful training, the content authors are populating the sites ready for a force-wide launch.
A full case study will follow shortly.
