As a Microsoft Online Services Partner, Adepteq has successfully sold, deployed, developed and supported Microsoft Online Services solutions to a variety of organisations. These have included the full Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS), Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
Adepteq has maintained a deployment of BPOS since the product launch which has been used for customer demonstrations and Online Events (which were powered by Live Meeting via BPOS).
The next step was to move our own internal communications & collaboration environment into the Microsoft Cloud, as Adepteq is a growing business with staff in different locations (so a typical prospect for Microsoft Online Services) our adoption of BPOS now enables us to practice what we preach!
Moving to Exchange Online was the initial phase of our project and involved Domain Verification, Public DNS record management, User Migration, Mailbox Migration and Synchronisation with our current Exchange Server (during testing).
All Users were then trained in installing and using the BPOS sign in Client and then how to use Office Communications Online (Instant Messaging & Presence).
Phase two is creating a new Adepteq Intranet using SharePoint Online to provide easy access to company documents, forms, sales & marketing materials and the Customer Services Helpdesk.
This project also means Adepteq can easily upgrade to Office 365, when this is launched in 2011 and will be able to share these experiences with our customers.
