Deskless workers are very different. They do not have an assigned PC or laptop, they do not create content and have very limited collaboration needs. They access these applications infrequently, less than 5% of their time on a computer, are not licensed for Exchange or SharePoint and do not access to information via mobile devices. When Microsoft designed the features of Deskless Worker, they were aiming at users that currently don’t have email and collaboration capabilities.
Ideal for segments of an organisation who do not have messaging and collaboration capabilities today. The suite includes Exchange Online Deskless Worker and SharePoint Online Deskless Worker. Each standalone offer is priced at £1.34* per user per month; the deskless suite is priced at £2.01* per user per month—a 25% discount.
Exchange Online Deskless Worker includes a 500MB mailbox for e-mail, calendar, contacts and Outlook Web Access Light along with anti-virus and anti-spam capabilities.
SharePoint Online Deskless Worker gives users read-only access to portals along with the capability to fill out forms.
